It’s the Compassionate Thing to Do.

Some may question whether reporting underage drinking is a compassionate act, but statistics show it is one of the most compassionate things we may ever do for our teenagers. Underage drinking strongly increases the likelihood of alcohol dependence, is the primary source for marijuana and prescription drug abuse in Buckeye, and contributes to drinking and driving among our teenagers. In fact, in 2013, Buckeye Police reported 193 arrests (age 18 and below) for driving under the influence. These are our teenagers, and they are putting themselves and others in serious danger. So, please, be compassionate to our teenagers, their families, and the rest of Buckeye. Pick up a phone and report underage drinking and parties.
